Breakfast made easy. You can even keep the berries and banana in a bag in your freezer and add the rest when you are gong to make the smoothie. You can also keep the smoothie in a glass jar inside the refrigerator for a few hours.
Ingredients:
- 300 g of red berries (I used frozen)
- 1 small banana
- 200 g of plain non fat skyr (if you can’t get skir you can use Greek yogurt)
- 6 almonds with skin on
- 1 teaspoon of sweetener
- 200 ml of water
Blend all ingredients at full speed. You might want to use another type of blender to grind the almonds and then add them to the other ingredients.
