A ideia de fazer uma bifana começou na manhã de 10 de Junho, dia de Portugal e das comunidades. Decidi pôr mãos à obra e improvisar com os ingredientes que tinha em casa. Troquei a carcaça por um bagel integral, ligeiramente torrado, molho de creme fraiche para ajudar tudo a aderir ao pão substituiu a tradicional mostarda. As minhas papilas ainda não estão treinadas para a verdadeira mostarda de Dijon. Não quero cuspir fogo nesta época de seca!

Shrimp and Egg salad

This salad was inspired by the delicious Danish smorrebrod. I made a lighter sauce by adding plain yogurt. In this recipe you can find echoes of my mediterranean roots mixed with the Scandinavian cuisine. The result is delicious, healthy and refreshing.

I have been wanting to go back to growing plants in my balcony and now I’m again in a place where that’s possible. Gardening has a way of keeping my mind busy and relaxed, plus I will have a few aromatic herbs.👩🏼🌾

Where is my snow?

Were is my snow? I was promised snow and told that this would be a harsh winter, but this is looking more like Castro D’Aire with out the fireplace.
Now that I got that off my chest I can say that I still find it extremely beautiful when the sky is blue. Until now I haven’t felt the winter blues. I keep my eyes in the Spring countdown below.
